The Story
I've collected those for almost a year, ever since my love for this awesome weapon had been ignited. I spent dozens if not hundreds of hours searching the Gardeners and their owners and even more keys to finally acquire them.
For some of them I had to wait more than 7 months and go through endless hustles until I would eventually be able to buy them. Noone here except real collectors will understand the lot of effort I put into it.
This collection and the determination to grow it even further have been the reason why I kept playing this game and participating in trading, despite not always enjoying it.
When I started to buy the first Gardeners (#12 and #20) one was able to buy craftnumbers for a couple keys, some months later there's not a weapon that doesn't get at least 5 keys, regardless the number. Some kind fellows would support me by selling me their Market Gardener to me for cheap, others would try to squeeze me knowing I was a collector and willing to pay (almost) any price. I underpaid for a few, I overpaid for more.
Needless to say that over the course of me collecting especially the price for single craftnumbered market gardeners would inflate, seeing as the demand was way higher than the supply. Guilty as charged.
I have the feeling that now is the time to call it a worthy collection. Been told it's the third best in the game after Mattie and the Director, it's on you to judge whether that is true or not.

The #4 Market Gardener
When I contaced the owner of the #4 Market Gardener and told him about my concern and my collection he didn't hesitate for long and deleted the weapon right away, in order to (quote) "harm you lololol".


The Value
Highly suggestive as with all collectibles. Worth a scrap to one person, buds to another.
A rough guideline: Been offered Bills' for random numbers, almost 2 buds for the 5. I didn't really care as I never had the intention to sell them until now.
Value of the collection as a whole is increased because of 2 reasons: Firstly, because of the effort I put in (intangible reason); secondly because the owner of this collection is sitting on the (almost-)monopoly for craftnumbered market gardeners and on the only single digit Gardeners to ever be sold (very tangible reason). As mentioned earlier I have spoken to all the owners and the number of gardeners that have a chance of being sold is less than 5.
